I’m passionate about helping people achieve optimal health outcomes.
Welcome! I am a professional nurse with 20 years of clinical experience, and passionate about helping people reclaim their health!
Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for many adults among a diverse population. Some of my most favorite patients were those in advanced age. Often, they would share their insights, not only surrounding their medical condition, but also pertaining to their life story. There would be so much wisdom imparted in relating descriptions of a spouse, child, profession, or travel. While caring for these patients was a joy for me, I also felt immense compassion for those suffering from life-debilitating illnesses, like dementia, immobility, malnourishment, and other medical conditions. When I started my nursing career, I remember feeling surprised and disheartened by the number of patients with chronic diseases. Even more, I have witnessed the complex effects of illness on an individual and their family. I became curious about the reason some patients seemed so healthy and others were in a very poor health condition. As the years progressed, I yearned to understand the underlying causes that led to sickness in the first place.
I believe that the human body has the powerful ability to heal when we seek the right keys to whole health. My vision is to consult with patients on their health journey so that clients may:
Gain knowledge and insight into their own health conditions
Learn and apply principles of optimal diet and lifestyle habits
Seek education in maintaining health
Review and evaluate medical literature to understand health implications
Advocate for themself through informed decision-making
Achieve optimal health to the best of their ability
Thrive every day
Learning how to make informed health decisions is essential to have control over one’s own health and autonomy!
